Next Meeting: Mr Romain Kidd, CEO of MyMiniFactory

Romain Kidd is the founding CEO of MyMiniFactory, the 3D Printable Object-Sharing Platform, a sort of GitHub for 3D object design. He is also CEO of MyMiniFactory's sister company iMakr, which offers 3D printing and scanning solutions for industry and hobbyists.
MyMiniFactory has a staff of 54 and 50,000 free and paid 3D printable objects produced by 10,000 designers. The platform runs competitions in which designers are invited to design products for major companies, such as Ikea and Esso UK. Romain has been CEO since it was founded in 2013. He works part time as an advisor to EC1 Capital Ltd., a leading London-based web and mobile venture investment fund.
Romain has an engineering master's degree from Imperial College, London.
